After 20 years of horrific invasion, killing innocent civilians because they merely "looked" like they were doing something suspicious from a radar 100 feet above the ground, the American govt. won't even bat an eye. I'm not even appalled at their silence. There are thousands of refugees fleeing into India everyday, but US won't protect even those Afghanis who allied with them against the Taliban.

I guess the Taliban taking over (as terribly saddening it is) is the reality check the world needs, especially those who believe in American media's faux glorification of U.S. military ops in the country. And those who think an American invasion in the name of "freedom/democracy" is godly.

You are right, it was all for nothing. 20 years of victimisation amounted to nothing!
