You put my thoughts to words. I'm a year away from turning 30 and everyone around me, even new people I meet have asked me this question - when are you getting married?
They automatically think that being single is a problem that needs a solution, the urgency of which increases when a woman is pushing 30.
Moreover, it's just so hard to convice these stubborn headed people that I'm happy being single. The great thing about being a single 30-something is that you finally have the resources and stability to enjoy your independence. And somehow, society thinks this same independence a problem.
